Borough Market stall owners create themed stands to entice customers
At Borough Market in London, ‘La Poissonnerie Furness’ has decided to adorn its stall with sea-themed decorations, in order to stand out from the five other fishmongers at the market and attract more customers.
The team work together to create a rich, sea-inspired atmosphere that customers flock to enjoy. All of these pieces of decoration work together to create an authentic feel to the stall, allowing Londoners to experience a harbour-like shopping experience in the heart of the city.
Similarly, a fruit and veg market stall owner has created a display around his fruit stand using famous Arcimboldo paintings: characters made up of fruit and vegetables. Linking the fruit and vegetables sold on his stand to the themed art means that the grocer can showcase both his produce and inspire customers to get creative in the kitchen.
