In Berlin, a café-florist in one, two businesses in harmony moving forward together
The Anna Blume café is located in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin. Its name is taken from a poem by German author Kurt Schwitters. In fact, the venue combines two particularly poetic and romantic arts: cooking and floral arrangement.
The combination of these two arts allows customers to have lunch in a floral environment, or to have a coffee as they wait for their bouquet of flowers to be arranged.
The harmony between the two businesses goes further, as the restaurant has endeavoured to produce dishes which resemble floral arrangements, in both size and colour.
Connecting these two activities doubles the chances of meeting potential customers, and creates an incomparable in-store atmosphere. The synergy between the two businesses has increased the café’s turnover. One innovative strategy that’s paid off financially.
