In Sheffield, high-street clothing brand Next installs changing rooms with intercom system
British high-street clothing brand Next is going the extra mile to provide both great customer service and an improved shopping experience, thanks to new intercom systems being installed in its changing rooms. Shoppers can now call for a style advisor directly from the comfort of their changing room.
The number of staff on-hand to help out in the changing room area is deliberately higher than the average of other high-street brands to ensure optimum service, whilst their new call-for-assistance buttons encourages customers to seek fashion advice from staff.
Pressing the new call button enables customers to ask a member of staff to bring another size or simply ask for their professional opinion on an outfit without having to set a foot outside their cabin, which can sometimes be an annoying part of shopping at other less-equipped stores.
The new intercom system has been installed in a couple of Next branches, however is set to be rolled out to all of their stores thanks to very positive customer feedback, who appreciate the brand doing everything they can to make the shopping experience more enjoyable and stress-free, whilst helping them select clothes that fit them perfectly.
