In Toulouse, a clothing brand has optimised its sales space
A shop specialising in underwear is innovating and optimising its point of sale by transporting products via a compressed air pipe system.
Undiz is a chain that specialises in the sale of underwear. In January 2015 it opened a truly ingenious concept store in Toulouse. Products are collected from compressed air pipes. With the store taking up just 45m2 in total, the idea was to optimise the sales space by offering this concept.
Customers buy products at electronic dispensers. After a maximum of two minutes’ wait, the products arrive directly in the hands of the customer. They come from a basement of 150m2, which is much more spacious than the shop and is where all the products are stored.
This method of delivery allows the shop to offer consumers a wide range of choice despite reduced space, avoiding the comings and goings of the employees. The customers, for their part, also benefit from a unique, fun customer experience.
