The city of Brest installs umbrella vending machines
The French region of Brittany has a reputation of being extremely wet and rugged….and the city council has chosen to reference this reputation with their new innovative range of umbrella vending machines, installed on photo booths around the city. For a region prone to sudden downpours, this is a practical, innovative solution!
French photo booth brand, Photomaton, says these machines symbolise a welcome diversification of their services, claiming that the locations of their booths are an ideal solution for passersby in need. Already installed in many stations, supermarkets, and other busy public places, these booths can be found everywhere, and so now can umbrellas if you get caught in a sudden downpour!
Pedestrians can rest easy knowing that an umbrella is always within easy reach! Photomaton has also launched the service in the stations of Montparnasse, Lilles, Valenciennes, and 10 more, as reported in the Brest newspaper “Sept Jours à Brest”.
